Freshmen "B" Coach Mike Cassano

  Mike Cassano is entering his third year with the Rosemount Baseball program.  The last two years Cassano has coached the Irish 9th Grade "B" Team after coaching the Irish Sophomores in 2007.

  Cassano currently works at Rosemount High School where he teaches World History, American History and US Government.  For the past two years, he has been an Varsity Boys’ Assistant Hockey Coach for the Irish and has spent two years coaching the Irish Freshmen Volleyball team.

  A native of Littleton, Colorado, Cassano graduated from Battle Mountain High School.

  Cassano then attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he played four years of Varsity Hockey, serving as Captain for one year, and spent three years as a Student Baseball Coach.

  Cassano graduated from St. Olaf with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies Education and Minors in Economics and Political Science.

  Previously, Cassano was a Head High School Baseball Coach in Colorado for one  year and a Head Coach in the Wayzata Baseball League for one year as well.

  Cassano currently resides in Farmington.
