Entering
his fourth year with the Rosemount High School Baseball Coaching Staff is
Assistant Coach Wayne Krantz. Coach Krantz was the Head Sophomore
Baseball Coach in 2006. In 2007, Coach Krantz moved over to the Varsity
as an assistant for Coach Monroe.
For the past
nine years, Krantz has taught Technology Education at Rosemount Middle
School, as well as coaching 7th & 8th Grade Boys’
and Girls’ Basketball. Coach Krantz also coached football at Rosemount
Middle School prior to moving up to the high school level.
Coach Krantz
has been on the Rosemount High School Football Coaching Staff the past
seven years. Coach Krantz has been the Freshmen Football Coach from
2002-current at Rosemount High School.
A native of
Shell Lake, Wisconsin, Krantz graduated from Shell Lake High School in
1992. Krantz was a (3) sport All-Conference athlete at Shell Lake High
School. In 1991 Krantz led the Shell Lake Lakers to a State High School
Football Championship in 1991 as the starting quarterback.
Krantz then
attended the University of Wisconsin-Barron County (Chargers) in Rice
Lake, Wisconsin, where he played Basketball and Baseball for two years
each.
From there,
he attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in River Falls,
Wisconsin, where he played one year of Football for the Falcons.
Krantz earned
a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Technology Education from the
University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menominee, Wisconsin and Masters of
Education from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.
Previously
Krantz coached at Shell Lake High School. At Shell Lake High Krantz
spent two years as an Assistant Football Coach and four years as an
Assistant Baseball Coach.
Krantz and his wife Krista reside in Apple Valley.
