Sophomore Coach Tim Wahl

  Sophomore Coach Tim Wahl is in his second year with the Rosemount Baseball Program.

  Wahl is a second year Mathematics teacher at RHS, where he currently teaches 9th Grade Algebra and 10th Grade Geometry.

  A native of Rochester, Minnesota and a graduate of Mayo High School, Wahl played basketball, baseball and football for the Spartans before graduating in 2003.  He earned All Conference Honorable Mention in football in addition to catching the winning touchdown in a Section Semifinal win over Rosemount in 2002.

  Wahl played in the Class AAA State Championship Baseball Game in 2001 against a Joe Mauer-led Cretin-Derham Hall squad.

  In May of 2007, Wahl graduated Summa Cum Laude from Augsburg College in Minneapolis with a BS in Mathematics and a Secondary Education Licensure.  Wahl played three years of collegiate baseball for the Auggies as a catcher.

  Currently a resident of Minneapolis, Wahl married his wife Lisa, who works in Technology Services for the Target Corporation Headquarters, this past August.
